Written Report:

WINDSLABS were prominent on N-E slopes at and above treeline.

Dug 2 small profiles today on NE slopes, both about 7200'. The weakest snow was down 16" and you could find it easily with your ski pole. Shovel tilt tests and compression tests failed easy with sudden/planar results. Extended column tests on the other hand would fail, but not propagate across the entire column. Ski cuts and cornice drops got no reaction either.

Stability improved since yesterday, but there is still obvious weak snow under these windslabs.

All the weak snow I found consisted of broken up snow grains, I did not find any faceted grains.
