Written Report:
Saturday and Sunday laid down a foot of cold dry snow with light/mod SW winds. Temps were in the teens. Avalanche problems were limited to loose dry and windslabs in isolated pockets. (On Sat my party found one of these isolated pockets and skier triggered a 8" deep windslab in NE steep terrain over a convex roll.) For the most part the snowpack was right-side up and quality with the weak snow on the surface.

This weak surface snow will now get buried with the forecasted heavy snowfall, high winds and rising temps starting late on Tues. I would expect dense snow and a cycle of STORM SLABS, WIND SLABS late Tues/Wed/Thurs and even WET SLABS if temps really do reach the upper 30's or we see rain on snow...
