Written Report:
Temperatures the past 3 days have reached 40 in the mountains and just barely freezing at night. We have received light rain as well. Today we saw a break from the rain with sunshine and moderate SW winds.

WET SLABS were a serious problem at the start of the warming trend, with evidence of 2' crowns and D3 slides at Tam Rim in conjunction with massive cornices falling. The wet slab problem seems to have tapered off with a slight melt/freeze cycle, but I wouldn't count them out as the warming trend continues, especially on southern slopes.

Our main current problems seem to be LOOSE WET and CORNICE FALLS.

If you find yourself sinking to your boot tops in wet mush, find a more shaded slope to play on. If you find yourself under a cornice, run!
