Written Report:
Today temps near 6500' reached 70 F! The snowpack has been melting, but hasn't had too much of a chance to get into a good melt freeze cycle. The last couple of nights saw above freezing temps. The skiing has been sticky... and if there is one thing Gabe Coler doesn't like, its sticky snow!

These warm temps have been releasing LOOSE WET surface slides on all aspects. I did see one pocket of WET SLAB pull out above Little Three Creeks Lake (R1 D1 on North aspect)

This weekend has cooler temps and a small bit of precip expected. The highs and lows (20's and 40's) in the Alpine will be just what we need for good corn skiing. Get up early, and if you find yourself on a slope sinking to your boot tops, its too wet, and time to go home.
