Written Report:
The overnight low temperature at Three Creeks Lake was -2 F, and this most recent snow came in "right side up" (the lightest weakest snow on the surface). Below treeline there was a shallow Loose Dry avalanche problem. Hand shears and ski cuts showed no cohesion in this most recent storm snow.

We observed moderate wind from the North and moderate blowing snow on the upper slopes of the rim. In the central Oregon mountains the wind is most often from the Southwest and West, so this Northerly wind will result in unusual loading patterns. North slopes were slowly being scoured today while South and Southeast slopes were presumably forming Wind Slabs.
