Written Report:
Today at Tam Rim we triggered a R2 D1 Wind Slab on a North east slope directly below the ridge top at 7300 ft. With only 6 or 7 cm of new snow at that time, this avalanche was small (not more than 30 cm. thick) but verified that we had a Wind Slab problem. With more snow and increasing wind speeds over the next few days I will be expecting this problem to continue.

By 2 pm there was 8-10 cm. of new snow above yesterday's melt-freeze crust. I saw Moderate snow fall throughout our tour. The temperature was above freezing for much of our tour, and this new snow was relatively heavy. The wind was light below treeline and moderate from the South-West at treeline.
