Written Report:
Went up to S Sister in hopes of some proto corn. Found challenging travel conditions, with minimal ski penetration on the way up. Switched to booting around 7200 on summer trail, good boot packing snow until 8k where the snow turned bullet proof. A brisk breeze keept the snow from softening. Skied down very variable snow that was occasionally soft, and mostly firm ice. East facing had the best snow. Through the trees was rock hard with tree bombs every where, very challenging skiing.

Observed an old crown at aprx 9500 on a SE aspect, looked to be a small storm slab that occurred during the last storm cycle (thinking it stayed snow that high). Evidence of rain runnels below.
