Written Report:
Toured out to ball this morning and it became clear pretty quickly that the wind was the main story of the day. Winds were moderate out of the North, and had stripped any and every North aspect back to crust. The remaining skiable snow was tucked into South facing pockets, usually capped with 5-20 cm of wind slab ranging from supportable to punchy. We found the slab to be stubborn with very little energy, and skied accordingly. A later group did report shooting cracks on an ESE slope over 30 degrees.

Fun day with variable snow, and a welcome change from the recent conditions.
