Written Report:
Another round of melt-freeze conditions on Broken Top today. The "Little Pucker Up" southeast aspect started to soften up and ski well around 9am, in the bowl the "3 O'Clock" area didn't soften up until after mid day.

On the southeast ridge at 7644', 8:41am winds where light to moderate from the east, skies clear, air temp was 1C (34f), I measured the height of snow to be 152cm.

I didn't see any avalanche activity today, but with temps forecast to be in the low 50s again tomorrow cornice collapse later in the day is certainly worth considering.

Phil.
