Written Report:
I found moderate surface hoar, that grew once the sun ducked behind Mt Bachelor. This was on top of a widespread 1-2cm hard crust, which sat atop 8-10cm of sugary powder -- this could make things interesting on avalanche terrain, with the new snow coming Tues night/Weds. A few pockets with no crust, in highly shaded areas were a welcomed treat on the ski down, even if short-lived. Snow depth varied between 90 and 105cm. One can easily tell it's been warm, windy, and sunny.

I'm not a professional, but wanted to share the more obvious factors before holiday traffic hits the slopes. A little patience and careful observation could go a long way this week.
