Written Report:
Toured around Tam Rim and skied the N facing aspect into snow creek east of Broken Hand. Dug a pit around 7200 ft on a NE aspect below a ridgeline, the depth was 130 cm deep, the snowpack was uniform to the melt freeze crust, aprx 30 cm down. Our ECT and CT produced no results. The only red flag we observed was warm temps, but the weak winter sun didn't effect the N facing slopes we skied. We found a variety of conditions from breakable crust, soft boot top powder, to firm crust on a steeper E face near the end of the day. The best snow was found on N and NNW slopes out of the alpine. Tam Rim still needs a few more feet to be fully skiable without concern of hitting shark every few turns.
