Written Report:
It was windier than it was snowy. I saw cohesive, wind deposited snow throughout much of the terrain, but it was never deep enough to constitute a Wind Slab avalanche problem. I skied the bowl around 2 pm and could still see old tracks throughout most of it. I'm guessing there was 6-8 cm. of new snow in sheltered areas.
I dug in a several spots on East and West slopes around 7000 ft. and didn't find any buried surface hoar or well developed facets.
