Written Report:
Went for quick tour this morning up vista butte. There was a bountiful amount of traffic in the area this morning. (We saw 5 other parties out touring on the butte.

There was a firm sun crust (~1cm ski penetration) on west through SW aspects. We skied a lap in the east bowl and found some wind deposited snow and preserved powder.

We dug a hasty pit in a wind loaded east aspect that had a prominent bonded crust layed roughly 50cm down similar to what has been seen on Tomalo.

Compression test results favored a well bonded snowpack with results of CTH Q3 at the bonded crust layer.
