Written Report:
I have just a few observations to pass along from my day of touring at Tam Rim today.

Most pertinently: last night was cold and clear and led to the development of weak snow near the snow surface. I saw well developed surface hoar near the lake, and much of the open terrain throughout the rim had near-surface facets beginning to develop. These weak grains are nothing to worry about now, but with new snow in the forecast for later in the week, it could become a layer of concern once buried.

The day started and ended calm, but during the middle of the day we watched Moderate winds from the South East blowing snow into and across the rim.

I didn't see any avalanche activity today.
