Written Report:
I toured up Tumalo today and found widespread surface hoar and near surface facets on all aspects and all elevations covered on my tour making the top few centimeters of powder slopes very weak (but fun to ride through today). The SH was 0.5-6mm and growing on all different types of surfaces. Some of the best tree SH viewing I have done in the Cascades.

The winds were calm and light early in the day becoming moderate with strong gusts around noon. The temperatures were in the mid-low teens but felt much colder as the winds picked up.

I poked around a bit by the small R1/D1 wind slab on the far skiers right side and found some cracking and touchy wind slabs near and around the existing slide that ran on the firm rain crust.
