Written Report:
Skied the small cliffs and slopes on the Far East side of Tam Rim known as the playground. Conditions were good in the trees with ~6 in of new snow over a imperceivable crust. There was a more significant crust deeper in the snowpack that did not affect riding. We stayed away from steep north facing slopes near and above tree line due to windslab concerns. There were many signs of wind loading on these slopes, and we even experienced some small shooting cracks when above treeline. A small slab (~4in deep) slid on a test slope on the upper crust layer.
