Written Report:
Did an uphill tour of the west side of Tumalo Wednesday morning, starting at 6:20am, noticed approximately 3" of fresh snow on top of the already substantial layer from the previous storm cycle. Poles/baskets didn't reach any crust while skinning uphill until the wind loaded slopes on the final push through the trees near the summit.

The steeper wind lips near the trees at that summit (above 7500') seemed poorly attached, cracks were propagating underfoot causing very small slides and sluff.

I stayed on low angle terrain and did not observe the conditions in the bowl. Based on the snow breaking off underfoot on the skin track near the summit I was suspicious of the snow stability in the bowl.

The ski back down to dutchman was great, snow felt solid especially below 7300'
