Observations
Saw numerous small natural avalanches (D1) that likely occurred during the height of the storm yesterday. One avalanche stuck out however, the southeast aspect of broken hand avalanched pretty much wall to wall. The crown didn't seem to be very deep but we were observing from No Name and it could have filled in some. I would estimate that it was somewhere around a thousand feet wide. It broke close to the ground so maybe some weaker snow had formed where the wind has been stripping snow throughout the season. Apart from these avalanches we noted no signs of instability in our travels today.Media
