Anybody been wondering what's up with the beacon basin they used to have at Bachy under Red chair? I know I have... that place was a suuuper useful for beacon practicing, particularly the multiple burial case. I talked to a patroller who isn't directly involved with that but knew some details, so this is kinda 2nd/3rd hand... but sounds like there were some issues with the the BCA system which is why it wasn't there last year, and why it's still not there now. Sounds like it was going to be too costly to fix, and that they were maybe looking into other alternatives, but that it was unlikely anything would happen this year.

I know it's tricky with Bachy being their own entity and being owned by a for-profit company, but it would be awesome if coavy could somehow work with them to bring this back. It was a great resource!
