Went for a Todd tour yesterday. 1-2 cm rain crust on top of the storm snow, seemed to be more stout in the glades. Toured from ~1030-~4pm. Sky was overcast and the RH was high enough that you could feel moisture in your face, but it was not raining until late afternoon.
Mellow wind coming from the SW was consistent on top of the ridge, but the crust prevent wind lips and slabs from forming.
Dug a pit on a NE aspect.
HS: 110cm
2cm crust, 90 cm of rounding storm snow, then a layer of facets to ground. Burp test and compression test did not expose any weakness.
Wind and precip had picked up by the time we left
