Did a tour up to ride the low angle off the north side followed by some moderate grade on the south side of potato hill. A light ice crust was noted from solar on most aspects. Dug a pit on the south facing aspect, open area. Around 30 deg. Light ice crust over a good looking snowpack. Fist down to about 50cm turning into 4F down to the 100cm. Column test noted a not very reactive failure around 60cm down, on 25.
