Observations
Skied E (morning) and S/SE aspects (early afternoon) between 7,500-8,800'.In the morning, E aspect was softened and fun, though there was a solid layer of ice several inches down. In the afternoon, S/SE aspects were soft but not overly slushy; did not have issues with sloughing while skiing.
Observed signs of D1 wet loose avalanches on steeper SE aspects. Ridges were melting out and snowpack was thin in spots.
