Saturday afternoon we toured out across the east side of the Broken Top bowl to ski 3 o’clock. When we got close, we encountered wind loaded snow poorly bonded to the rain crust below. 3 o’clock had 2 avalanches that appeared to occurs earlier in the day and ski tracks under the debris field. (Potentially skier triggered). We decided to not go any higher and leave for the day. On our way out, we noticed a slide occur in the run out of spires. All of the slides looked to have a crown of 4-6” and not a lot of energy but would have been enough to knock a skier off their feet.
