Toured up Tumalo from Dutchman under partly cloudy skies. Wind was out of the NW 5-7 mph, gusts up to 10.

Performed some mini ski cuts/stomps on the way up on rolls and pillows with slabs of 20cm thickness reacting.

Observed the cornices rebuilding and 75cm of new snow on top of the crust. The snowpack appears to be right-side up with fist hardness all the way down to the layer interface.

Performed an ECT on a NE aspect at 7800 ft, just skier’s left of the rocks at about 1p.m. Experienced an ECTN5 at 55 cm, and when flipped over looked like a Q1ish.

Ski down was fantastic, snow in open glades was on the way to getting heavier by the time I was coming down, but had fresh tracks the whole way.
