Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Wanted to add a photo of the reported avalanche on Ball Butte previously reported. I arrived shortly after the slide was triggered. Had intentions of riding the NE bowl with the assumption that it would be less sun affected and more stable. Was surprised to see the slide. Previous melt freeze crust did not bond well the the previous day/nights 8" of new snow.
