Zone or Region:
Central Cascades
Activity:
Skiing/Snowboarding
Location:
Tam Rim “Playground”
None reported
Skinned up to the “playground” area at Tam Rim around 0800. Partly sunny with temps in the mid teens. Dug a pit at 7000ft on the north facing aspect. Pit test revealed a CT13Q2. The slab that broke was 28cm of the fresh snow that we received this week. We proceeded up a little ways to the top of the playground and decided to ski the lookers right of that face. Turns were deep and felt very solid under foot. No sloughing noted on any of our runs. Coverage was pretty good with most of the lower rocks covered.
